Invitation to Axiom Concert

Axiom Quartet is thrilled to invite you to our upcoming concert – a collaborative effort of your familiar Axiom members – Dominika Dancewicz and Juliette Javaheri – violins, Dawson White – viola and Patrick Moore – cello, and the outstanding faculty of the University of St.Thomas Music Department and Music Preparatory School. The event will be hosted at University of St.Thomas Cullen Hall on Sunday, February 23 at 1PM.

In this performance Axiom Quartet embarks on a trip through styles and eras, as we explore different realms of rarely heard chamber music. The eclectic mix includes the first movement of the all time favorite Franz Schubert Cello Quintet, the taste of the British music in Gerald Finzi’s Five Bagatelles and the sublime, sensual world of Paul Verlaine’s poetry in the selection of songs from „La Bonne Chanson” by Gabriel Faure.

Axiom is excited to be joined by the fabulous faculty of the University of St.Thomas: Richard Nunamaker – clarinet, Marion Russell Dickson – soprano, Jasmine Hatem – piano, and Hellen Weberpal – cello.

The event is free and open to the public, however the artists will accept donations. Parking is free on the streets and $2 parking can be found in the garage on Graustark Street.
