Initiative to Support New Editions of the Educational Polonia Program Szkola Liderow sponsored by the Polish Senate
Dear Friends of Houston Polonia,

I am grateful to be a part of a community that shows interest in our Polish heritage. In the same spirit works an educational program in Poland sponsored by the Senate of the Republic of Poland. The two week summer program is called Szkola Liderow Polonijnych (http://szkola-liderow.pl/schoolforleaders.php) and its purpose is to teach the participants effective strategies to serve Polonia communities as a leader, activist and preserver of Polish heritage. There is a chance that the new editions of Szkola Liderow might be discontinued by the decision of the Senate.

The alumni of Szkola Liderow in Canada and US. want to help the organizer, Szkola Liderow in Poland, by asking the Polish Senate to continue their sponsorship of these workshops for the new participants for the years to come. As a former alumna of this program, I have learned about many successful ways to serve Polonia in order to cultivate our Polish culture and heritage abroad. I therefore ask for your support of the initiative – it requires your good will and electronic signature.

We, the alumni, are collecting electronic signatures from those who support the idea of fostering the Polish-American relations and equipping new generations of people of Polish descent with the tools to keep the Polish heritage abroad alive.
