We are very excited to announce the first concert of 2015 – a collaboration between the Axiom Quartet and our esteemed colleagues of the Fidelis Quartet.

The concert includes all-Mendelssohn program: String Quartet No.3 performed by the Fidelis Quartet, and the famous youthful String Octet, written by the composer at the tender age of 16. Despite Mendelssohn’s young age, the piece shows maturity, intricacy and the exciting joie de vivre that surpasses any expectations one might have of the teenage creativity. It is a must-hear, exciting piece, performed by two joined string quartets.
