“Invigorating (Nuclear) Engineering Education with “TEEE – TE3– Technology Empowered Engineering Education”
Waclaw Gudowski
Professor, KTH-Royal Institute of Technology
Stockholm, Sweden
Leading technical universities worldwide develop nowadays intensively so called E-learning both for academic and non-academic education. E-learning possibilities and attractive presence in the cyber-space will be soon also an important criterion for applicants and university evaluators.
Royal Institute of Technology – KTH in Stockholm, Sweden develops its own model of E-learning called “Technology Empowered Engineering Education” – TEEE or TE3 in order to invigorate engineering education, in nuclear area in particular. TEEE at KTH is very much in-line with the KTH’s main educational mission: excellent “Campus-based” engineering education supported by technology in order to make education more attractive and more creative, to enhance learning pace and consequently improve a “through-put” for the program students.
