Strawberry Wine (2007) is based on Polish writer Andrzej Stasiuk’s acclaimed collection of short stories, Tales of Galicia, and lovingly directed with attention to its literary source by Dariusz Jabłoński. It is a story about love and belonging that will draw you into a world of provincial communities hailing from different cultures and nations living amongst each other, where life seems slow and ordinary, but where beauty permeates every moment.
