Polish violinist Dominika Dancewicz invites you to Axiom String Quartet concert at University of St.Thomas.
The concert will be on Sunday, March 3 at 1PM at Cullen Hall on UST campus.
Axiom Quartet is a local young and dynamic group whose members are affiliated with St.Thomas University’s Music Preparatory School. The quartet presented their debut concert at UST last November and has since been invited to perform as part of UST Music Preparatory School concert series.

The program will include the intricate, virtuosic String Quartet op.8 No 3 by Luigi Boccherini, the String Quartet op.11 by Samuel Barber, the famous second movement of which was later reworked by the composer himself to become known as Adagio for Strings. We will also perform the mighty, lyrical and robust String Quartet op.59 No 1 by Ludwig van Beethoven.
The Axiom Quartet musicians will also present short talks about each work. This event is a great way to get your Sunday afternoon intake of beautiful music and education. Please, feel free to bring your friends and kids 6 years old and up.

This event is free and open to the public, however the artists will accept donations.
Free parking is available on the streets surrounding the campus. Paid parking ($2 flat fee) is available in the parking garage located at W Alabama and Graustark St.
