Leonardo da Vinci and the Splendor of Poland 
Official opening of the exhibit  took place on 12/7/2002. Among the guests were: from Washington DC - the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland Honorary Przemyslaw Grudzinski, from LA - Consul General of the Republic of Poland Mr. and Mrs. Krzysztof Kasprzyk, from Krakow - the Director of the National Museum of the Vavel Castle Professor Jan Ostrowski, from Houston - Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Krazynski. Opening night featured Moores School of Music Professor Andrzej Grabiec - violin, and Houston's Polonia pride Adam Golka - piano.
 

W czasie lunchu poprzedzajacego uroczyste otwarcie wystawy przedstawiciele Polonii w Housto udekorowani zostali polskimi odznaczeniami panstwowymi:
