The celebrations of the 150 anniversary of the first Polish settlement Panna Maria, Texas Saturday 12-11-04
	First Polish settlement anniversary celebrations took place in the Polish church in Panna Maria. The holly mass was celebrated by cardinal Adam Majda from Detroit.  San Antonio archbishop Patric Flores, the Gliwice bishop, Jan Wieczorek, and the first Silesian bishop in Texas,  John Yanta were also present. About fifty guests came from Poland for celebration, among them the folklore group "Silesia" from Łubiany.
