I was scared and you gave me courage,
I was in trouble and you helped me out,
I was in the dark and you shined a light,
I was confused and you helped me understand,
I was lifeless and you gave me existence,
I couldn't reach and you lifted me up,
I cried and you made me smile,
I was discouraged and you gave me hope,
I wanted to quit but you kept me going,
I stumbled but you wouldn't let me fall,
I needed love and you gave me yours,
I wanted the stars and you gave me the universe.
