Valentine's Day is not just - day of flowers
Boxes of little chocolates shaped like heart
nor red roses bought in Kroger at wee hours
Bottle of "White Diamond" from local Walgreen's mart.

It is mainly about love and caring
about our daily "ups and downs"
Happiness and sorrows - we are sharing
Day after day together, hand in hand!

Love is not just sharing bodies
It's also sharing laughter, sharing tears
Together resolving our problems
daily "routines" and those "big deals"

So, celebrating our "special day"
Let's thank together the Lord, our God
For this 15th Valentine's together
You and me, on our life's tortuous road!!
