Sore, exhausted, with achy knees and joints but with a big smile on my face and a feeling of accomplishment – I made it all the way from the start in Houston to the finish in Austin.

We had to get up at 4.30AM both days, start at 6.00AM. It was freezing cold! We had a strong headwind (up to 15 mph) on Saturday and a lot of hills on Sunday (including ‘killer’ hills through the Buescher State Park).
Overall, it was BRUTAL but worth it!
 
MS Society raised over $15 million, from which 80% goes directly to the patients with multiple sclerosis and research. It was a big success.
