Thanks to Polish Houstonian, NASA Engineer Michael Scheib, we can share few photos

of the  Final Mission to service the Hubble Space Telescope

221Last month's STS-125 mission was the final mission to service the Hubble Space Telescope (HST). It was also the last Space Shuttle mission to not go to the International Space Station (ISS). In order to extend the life of the HST, the mission replaced sensors, gyroscopes, and batteries and also added thermal covers for protection. Two new instruments were added which will greatly enhance data and photography of the universe. IMAX-3D photography was done for a future movie.

The photo consists of members of the Flight Activities Officer (FAO) team, the STS-125 astronauts, and Flight Director.  Michael Scheib was the Lead FAO for the mission.
