Three months now it's been since I did decide
To give you the chance to be at my side.
Luscious body, fair eyes, a face most divine.
Your features were almost as gorgeous as mine.

A wit razor-sharp, an intellect vast;
Your knowledge was only by mine surpassed.
We were a couple admired by all.
You, especially, were envied when walking the hall.

When you were unhappy, I chased away harms
And held you tight in my strong, muscled arms.
Our moments alone were times of pure bliss
How else could they be, when receiving my kiss?

Oh, our times together have been joyous, it's true,
But now I see the faults hidden in you:
You make all our fights outrageously long
When it's obvious that I couldn't be wrong.

You don't laugh at my jokes, though I know they're funny.
And you can't seem to help spending all of my money
You mock my singing, though what emits from your throat
Can be likened to someone beating a goat.

It's been fun, but now I must say
It's time that we went our own separate way.
For how can you possibly expect me to be
With someone any less perfect than ME?
