3rd Polish American Youth Conference in USA to Be Held in Madison, Wisconsin Focusing on Skills for Future Polonia Leaders.
 
Annual three day Conference draws college students and young professionals of Polish descent with the goal of building a new generation of Polish-Americans.
 
Madison, Wisconsin: The Quo Vadis Conferences bring together young professionals and students of Polish descent for a weekend long session (August 1st-3rd, 2014) of intensive leadership building and networking. With a renewed focus on problem-solving skills applied to contemporary Polonia issues, Quo Vadis Madison continues the United States chapter of the Quo Vadis International vision for unity amongst the Polish diaspora.
 
Along with focusing on leadership and networking skills as a basis for the future success of Polonia, the conference will also focus on specific topics including conflict resolution, contemporary Polish-American identity, and promoting Polonia both in the US and around the world. “Quo Vadis is part of an ongoing effort to mobilize and better organize Polonia youth around the world,” stated Marta Studicka, Chairwoman for the 2014 Madison Quo Vadis Conference. We believe that an organized Polonia youth will result in increased excellence and success for the individual as well as the greater Polonia community.”
 
The conference will host approximately 100 pre-selected participants from the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and Latin America. During the three day conference, a dozen notable guests will speak on the various topics. The conference also contains hands-on workshops where participants engage current day Polonia issues and workout practical solutions.
 
The first Quo Vadis Conference was organized and held in Canada over five years ago by Polish-Canadian youth in an effort to address a leadership and networking void in their respective age group. Since then, the Conference has expanded to the US and Australia. The conference, non-partisan in nature, is supported by the Polish Consulate in Chicago and various other public institutions and companies related to Polonia communities.
