Research Participation Requested

My name is Katarzyna Kańska, and I am a doctoral student in clinical psychology at The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA.  I’m currently conducting dissertation research, focusing on the post-migratory experience of Poles in the United States under the supervision of Mary Lamia, Ph.D., and I’m seeking participants for my study.

This study is an anonymous on-line survey which takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.  All data collected are anonymous, and no identifying information about participants will be collected, including IP addresses. Participants will have an opportunity to enter a raffle for a chance to win one of twelve $25 Amazon gift cards.  The Wright Institute Internal Review Board (IRB) has reviewed and approved this study.

Eligible participants will meet the following criteria:

  • Born in Poland
  • Immigrated to the United States as an adult
  • Have lived in the United States at least one year or longer
  • Be 20 years of age or older
  • Participants’ parent(s) live(ed) in Poland, or a country other than the United States
